He has very famous nickname”The bicycle
champion Chêng Jih Ch'ing”. He serviced to Government department. After
retrocession, he worked at directorate general of highway and retired in 1977.
He devoted himself to government for more than 40years.
He was one of very outstanding ballad
singers in early Taiwan. He sang some very pleasant songs such " falling
rain one day", "hometown’s month ","night
fog lighthouse", " please trust me "; and over 100
songs. Besides that, he was very good at writing lyrics; he had ever published
over 40 lyrics of songs. His style is very young and active.
Moreover, he doesn’t only love sing but
also like to share happiness to others. That established his status in
entertainment circle. Besides that, He found a children's permanent disability
foundation in Taipei and be the supervisor.
