小戽斗(Small Scoop Bucket)

Recently, senior performer’s finical situation has become a big problem.

According to the latest news, we found that a senior performer “Small Scoop Bucket” were suspected to own big debts and hid in the mountains now. However, He opens a press conference to clarify it. Though he doesn’t have any income indeed, he will never owe the money forever. He hoped that everyone could give him a job in order to let him pay his debts.

He said his body was in a big burden after under the high pressure. Moreover, he acted in the drama “catch to a wrong train “with Jiang Xia and Sun Yueh is actually the classic of that era. He said he will do his best to deal with his debts problem. After that, we heard that the bank even transfer his debts to a usury company. Now, he owes the bank almost 3.4millions dollars and he has to pay the money 80 thousands a month.

Unlucky, he doesn’t have any income now. He said he had a commitment with his friends, if his friend could give a chance to work, he must pay the money.

Now, they step out to ask the TV station to give them some jobs, the senior performer Shi Zhongyu also came forward to help him. They want to have a opportunity to work and to ease their life dilemma now. Frankly to say, nobody wants to go to the difficult state now. Due to that, they came forward now and hope the society could give them a warm help.

石喬 Lu Ching Yuan

Shi Qiaoben was named Lu Ching Yuan. He was born at Chia Yi in 1943. He got a very handsome appearance and sing very well. For this reason, he has many fans and also be the directory of Jin-Shi record company. 

He really loves singing so he participated many singing competitions. He got a championship at one singing competition around 20 years old. In 1968s, he stepped in to the pop music circle and recorded dozens records. In the standard-playing record period, he had recorded over 40 albums including “Taiwan Sunday drama: Golden city is my hometown” and other famous dramas and movies theme songs. He really immersed himself into music world. But now he went into the backstage and became a national treasure singer in Taiwan’s music industry. Singer Hong-Rung Hong, Chen Ying Jie and other singers had ever sung Lu Ching Yuan’s song works. Moreover, he introduced Tsai Chen-Nan and others into pop music industry.

In 2008, he won the first Edison Arts of Music honorary PHD. It’s actually the harvest of his over 40 year’s dedication to music and also the highest recognition and encouragement to him. We can also feel his passion to his songs. He pleaded that each songs are all authors’ effort, so we should respect other’s copyrights. When you respect others, it’s the same to respect yourself. Taichung County’s Magistrate also praised him as the proud and joy of Taiwan.

He created many popular songs and some of his songs were still the popular songs in KTV. He actually leaves local style songs which belong to Taiwan. Now, He focus on his time on write the lyrics or songs and published more album to cultivate more new singers in order to let the talented people step into the music industry and share the good music to everyone.

走馬燈歌后~~邱蘭芬(Chiu Lan Fen)

She was born in Nantou County shuilixiang Qiu Lanfen.In 1965, she attended a singing competition at Taichung in the Republic of China. She was only eight years then and then she participate another sinning competition in Taichung in December and won the children’s champion. So surprised! After the she won the awards with a natural singing talent, she became a very excellent Taiwanese pop singer.

She recorded many songs in the sampo record company such "marry the bride" or "little fan", "Spring Dreams" etc. One of her song “spring dance” continuously obtained 38 radio joint selections of top ten singers in all of Taiwan

Songs and got seven weeks championship. It really shook the entire pop music industry.

In 1960s she recorded a song “misery female gargoyles” at Giant Word Company. This puppet theme song got a great sensation in Taiwan.

There are so many good songs in this album. For example, one of the songs “Revolving scenic Lantern”, this song was the main theme of a Taiwan TV drama. Due to that, she got a name called revolving scenic lantern Queen.

In 1980s, she recorded the last album in Taiwan. After that, she left the pop music industry and resided abroad.

 In September 77, she went back to Taiwan to record her 20 anniversary album. In recent years, she will occasionally go back to sing, her fan are all really miss her voice.  On the day of our union’s establish, she also made a special trip to participate in, it makes me feel really proud of that.

鄭日清(Chêng Jih Ch'ing)

He has very famous nickname”The bicycle champion Chêng Jih Ch'ing”. He serviced to Government department. After retrocession, he worked at directorate general of highway and retired in 1977. He devoted himself to government for more than 40years.

He was one of very outstanding ballad singers in early Taiwan. He sang some very pleasant songs such " falling rain one day", "hometown’s month ","night fog lighthouse",  " please trust me "; and over 100 songs. Besides that, he was very good at writing lyrics; he had ever published over 40 lyrics of songs. His style is very young and active.

Moreover, he doesn’t only love sing but also like to share happiness to others. That established his status in entertainment circle. Besides that, He found a children's permanent disability foundation in Taipei and be the supervisor.

許秀年(Hsü Hsiu Nien)

Hsü Hsiu Nien, the famous female role in Chinese traditional operas actor who was born in Yunlin Mailiao in 1954. She had grew up in her second uncle's "Mailiao arch music club Opera" with her mother and grandmother. In a coincidence, she performed very well in acting in the Red Chamber dreams drama. After that, Chen Chengsan wrote a very suitable play for her to perform. Soon she became very popular. In 1963, she performed a play “wandering the three siblings,” and it was most sensational movie at that time. From 1971 to 1996, she had taken a number of famous television opera; she was praised as ""Yang Li Lady forever" and she also showed in "CTV" with partner Huang Xianglian very often.

She often go abroad to show on the stage  with Li Hua Yang, she has been to Japan ,the United States, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries. Wherever they go, it must become a big sensation there. And her shows in Taiwan are mainly focus on the field of government culture performances. Recently she also took part in modern opera performances and now she belongs to Li Hua Yang Taiwanese Opera Company and Tang Mei Taiwanese Opera Company

康丁(Kang Ting)

Kang Ting’s original name is Chang Hsi Kui, was borne on May 6th 1936 in Lu Kang. He really loves to perform. When he was a child and he can to play beiguan. He went to Taipei to work when he was 18years old; he was an apprentice at a bamboo store in Beitou Dist. He worked there untill he was 20 years old. After that, he gave up the work in bamboo store and went to an orchestra to learn music, while he had a part-time job in a radio station.

When he  joined the army in 1957, he participated in a band as a drummer. As a coincidence, he got a mission to sing on the stage. He showed on the stag. He was very thin and black with a fake beard and loose pants.After that, he became very popular. He was found by director Wei I Chou in a show, and the director took him to make movies and gave him a stage name  Kang Ting.

 In the 1960s, he joined to perform in a Taiwanese soap opera, and became one of the most famous comedians in that era. He was famous as Chin T'u, T'o Hsien, A His and Huang Hsi T'ien etc.

After taking a shoot of 《606 Kang Ting commanding officer》, he became more famous after acting 《Kang Ting travel Taipei》of director Wu Fei Chien. Then he performed a series soap operas such 《Kang Ting’s laugh》, 《Kang Ting broke up》, and 《Kang Ting autobiography》etc. Moreover, he also had a singing album《A girl in mountain got married》etc.  He was a host with parter Ch'iu Wang Shê. He can sing, act, and be a host. Owing to the fact that Taiwanese local operas was gradually declining; he transferred his work line to karaoke restaurant and launched several albums of interesting songs.

Nowadays, he is still very active in Taiwan’s entertainment industry;  already accumulating a number of series works in past decades. He is actually a senior actor in the entertainment circle.

She is called “second elder sister” in the entertainment. You can understand her status in entertainment circle just only hearing her nickname. Frankly speaking, she grew up in a poor family and she is the first child. Due to that, her child dream is to earn much money. Today she actually earns so much money. She just joined the new company with signing gold of 1.2 billion dollars. Compared to her childhood, when she can only get 10 dollars wages while working all day. It's totally different. My mom said “there are so many penniless people in this world”, we should do things perfect and can’t have any regrets.

文香Weng Shiang

She recorded her first album when she was eight years old, she had ever sung some popular  songs such 「Pick the betel nut」、and 「A 18 years girl is beauty as a flower」etc. After she launched her first album, she got many fans immediately. Due to her sweet appearance, she had a chance to be  a movie actress in the meanwhile.
Frankly to say,she began to sing on the stages at the age of nine, and then made tour concerts with”Wen Hsia sisters”;   She had ever performed from south Asia to Japan etc. Besides that, they promoted the tradition Taiwan folk culture to international stage under the leadership of teacher  Wen Hsia.  Though Wen shiang tried to do different kind of  jobs  such working at radio station or be a hostess ,  she still really love singing and will never give it up.

脫線 (Tuo Shen)

Tuo Shen was borne in Hsin Chu Taiwan, he stared to be an apprentice to repair car while he was 13 years old, After that, he went to be a driver in a movie company. An unexpected chance, he stepped into entertainment circle around 1960s. Further more; he experienced the new drama troupe in early days, black and white motion movie period, and color motion television period.

       In the period of Taiwanese local opera, He was took a fancy to be a guest performer as a veterinarian by a producer. The producer named him “T’o Hsien” to be his stage name. Soon, he got married with Lin Yü Chên when he was 23 years old. However, their first child was unfortunately died of congenital heart disease.

        He became more and more famous when he started to be a movie actor. When CTV started to broadcast, he had been a host of a program (today’s countryside) and had ever recorded some very interesting talk show CD. Nevertheless, the government in formation office deemed that it’s a vulgar program. For this reason, the program often forbade broadcasting by government. There is one thing we can’t deny, that is Tuo Shen really have his own style. He loves to wear overalls and black frame glasses. To tell the truth, it is really funny style. He and Chaplin who was really famous in western world were usually mentioned to the same breath.

    In 1987, he bought dozens of hectares land in Luye Township, Taitung Taiwan and opens a Farm called TSGG. He had ever planted coconut, breed sheep but all failed and owe huge debt. After that, he began to raise roosters. He uses some loud and clear slogans as a brand to promote his roosters. During 921 earthquake, he took hundreds roosters to Dongshi Township. After the disaster, tourists started to travel to east Taiwan. For this reason, his farm started to show a turn from loss to profit.

余天 (Yu Tian)

He really loves sports and has been singing since childhood, getting really outstanding performances in the field of sport. He specialized in running, discus, shot put, baseball, but especially the discus. He kept an excellent record in the county sports meet. When he was 17 years old, he participated in singing competitions held by TV and radio stations. He won the championship in a radio station singing competition. In that period of that time, the TV station was not yet popular, but he introduced himself to one TV station, and performed in some TV shows. He just showed on TV two times when the TV station got many post cards from Yu Tien’s fans. Moreover, one movie director took a fancy to his appearance and invited him to make a film. On the 10th of September, 1978, he married his girl friend- Ya Ping Lee, who was a singer as well. On the day of their wedding, Ya Ping said that Yu Tien was not only interesting and humorous in his appearance but he is really a sincere, kind and filial person. It’s hard to find a second one in the performance circle. Now their children are all all grown up and their relationship is very stable. We could say this couple is a very good model for us.
